Check-in time is 3:00 pm on Friday; checkout time is 1 pm on Sunday. If you'd like to stay longer, please contact the Ojai Retreat directly to reserve rooms for any other nights.

For pictures of the rooms, please visit www.ojairetreat.com. Note: we are not charging any premiums on the rooms; they are available to you at the Ojai Retreat's listed price. Also, while the Retreat has raised its prices since last year, these rooms are still a good deal, especially because they don't charge hotel tax (10%) because they're a nonprofit -- so the prices quoted are the actual, live prices!

To reserve the room of your choice:

  1. Please make sure it's available on the list above.
  2. Email us at fools@imaginalinstitute.com and let us know which room you'd like.
  3. Also please let us know the names of any additional people who will be staying in the room so we don't duplicate reservations.
  4. If you'd like an extra bed, please let us know and add $30 per night to your room's total.
  5. Once you've asked to reserve the room by email and received confirmation from us that it's available to you, fill out the Fools Registration Form, with your room reservations included, and mail it to us with your payment for both conference registration and lodging.
  6. We'll hold the room for you for one week from when you email us until your check arrives! If we don't receive a check from you within a week, we'll open the room back up to all of the Fools. If there is more than one person staying in the room and you're paying separately, we need to receive all payments from all parties to officially reserve the room. (And we'll love you if just one person is the payer of lodging fees, as it will make our lives easier!)

(PLEASE NOTE: You must reserve the room through us, NOT through the Ojai Retreat directly! Otherwise we run the risk of double-booking and you might find yourself homeless...a homeless fool, now that's pathetic...)

You can download the First Fools Registration Form here, if you haven't yet done so!
