She's Here
Phillip Rosenberg
She’s a storyteller, a mythic dweller
She Talks to the moon and sun
She’s a Pagan princess, never flinches,
Won’t bow down to anyone,
When she opens up her door,
You will beg, beg for more
She’s every thing you’ve ever hungered for
And feared
And she’s here
She’s a Fortuneteller, a magic speller
A wise old woman-child,
She’ll take a notion, grab a potient
Turn you into something wild
Try to hold her in one place
She’ll laugh like dust and blow away
She’s the edge you’ve finally strayed too near
And it’s too late to turn back now to safe and cavalier
She’s here.
When your life has lost its shine
She’ll reach out and touch your mind
You’ll see the world for the first time again
She’s a dream propeller, interstellar,
She rides a shooting star
Don’t try to fight her, just hold on tighter
See if you can go that far
She’s traveling on that timeless curve
Of Einstein’s magic universe,
When celestial fireworks appear
And everything is instantly mysteriously clear
She’s here
